A Call To Serve Ministries of Iowa (ACTS) connects those who need assistance with those willing to lend a hand.   Through volunteering our time and talents we model God's love, build stronger Christian relationships, and promote servant leadership in our communities.

ACTS Ministries utilizes short-term, local projects to provide opportunities for those interested in serving others through the work of their hands. By collecting information on our volunteer's skills and interests, we match the team members with the "right" projects.

We've just completed our Service Surge event in Knoxville! With over 200 volunteers serving in the community, this event is officially our largest Surge yet! We will be posting photos and video here over the next few weeks. Click on those tabs to see more!

On April 18, 2009, A Call To Serve Ministries completed its second Service Surge in Ottumwa, Iowa, and had nearly 200 volunteers participate in the event. Crews raked yards, installed doors, painted the interior/exterior of homes/organizations, built a wheelchair ramp, and completed general home maintenance at 14 different project sites.
