A Call To Serve Ministries of Iowa (ACTS) connects those who need assistance with those willing to lend a hand.   Through volunteering our time and talents we model God's love, build stronger Christian relationships, and promote servant leadership in our communities.

ACTS Ministries utilizes short-term, local projects to provide opportunities for those interested in serving others through the work of their hands. By collecting information on our volunteer's skills and interests, we match the team members with the "right" projects.

May 14, 2011- UPDATE! We had 302 volunteers at the Spring Surge in Knoxville, our biggest event yet!  We completed 27 projects, packaged nearly 25,000 meals with Meals From the Heartland, and donated over 170 canned goods to the Helping Hands Food Shelf in Knoxville.  Thans to all who volunteered, helped with planning, and prayed for this event!
